5th Grad Graduation

This was Braxton's last year in Elementary school.  Since he is moving to Middle School next year, the fifth grade holds a "graduation" ceremony to send the kids off.  There were 5 classes that were graduating, so it ran a little long, but it was neat and a little sad to see Braxton take this step in his life.

Walking to recieve his medal of achievement.

Logan's not happy because Mike accidentally bumped his head on the wall as we were having the picture taken.  Poor thing....
The 4 muskateers...Jared, Braxton, Brody and Zach.  They have no idea how much different life is going to be next year...

Baseball and Ballet

Another season of baseball come and gone....Braxton played third base again and outfield when there was a strong batter up to bat.  They had a pretty good season 5 wins 4 loses, I think.  Our team made it to the tournament, but lost our first game, which went into overtime three times.  It was a really close game, but the other team took the win.  Braxton had a great time playing and did pretty good this year.  He had some really good plays, the best one of the season was when the batter hit the ball, Braxton was on third, and the ball was going to be a foul ball, but Braxton ran up, slammed against the fence and caught the ball.  Everyone was on their feet cheering, it was awesome!

Hailey did another year of Ballet and Tap.  Her recital was in May and she started talking about "dancing on the stage" in about September.  She was very excited when recital time actually arrived.  I don't even know what the show was about, but Hailey did a great job. It seemed like she got it this year.
She was a music box dancer this year.
Grandpa Ellsworth drove down to see her performance and spend the weekend with us.

Orlando with the Sampsons

Well, we did it....we all survived (all 12 of us) living together for almost 3 years under one roof.  The Sampsons were getting ready to move down to Florida, so we thought it would be fun to take a trip together before they left.  While we were down there we went to the Magic Kingdom for a day and hung out at the resort pools.  The kids had a blast!  It was a great way to end this journey.
